The guided tour offers an overview of the region’s extraordinary and diverse nature with the help of five thematic areas and a large 16-square-meter model that shows everything from the underwater canyons at a depth of 3,000 m to the 2,027 m height of the Pico de Revolcadores, the highest peak in the region. Whales, sharks, the formation of the Mar Menor, seahorses, and the great shipwrecks of Cabo de Palos.
We will discover the history of the ships sunk in our waters, such as the famous Sirio, the biggest catastrophe of the 20th century on the Spanish coasts, with unpublished images and objects from the famous Italian steamship, sunk in 1906 off the Hormigas Islands.
