Hormigas Islands Marine Reserve

You will need your ID card or passport, diving certificate, diving insurance, as well as the necessary diving permits for Marine Reserves of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the Spanish State’s Marine Reserve, in physical format. All personal documents will be taken on board for presentation to the inspection service.

If you haven’t dived in more than 1 year and have done fewer than 30 dives, we recommend you let us know so we can properly plan your dive to ensure you have fun from the first outing.

Your instructor and you will decide the steps to dive in the Marine Reserve safely. If you are going to do 2 or more dives on the same day or the depth of your dive is going to exceed 25 meters, you will need a dive computer. The dive profile will be adjusted to the divers’ certification.

INCLUDES

• Professional monitor-guide with extensive knowledge of the dive.
• Facilities with changing rooms and private outdoor area for equipment assembly.
• Advice and supervision of equipment assembly by instructors.
• Workshop with tools for adjustments and/or repairs of equipment.
• 12-15-18 liter tank with 1-2 valves.
• Belts and weights of 1-2-3 kgs. 

NOT INCLUDED

• Marine Reserve fee (€5, will be charged at the facilities after each dive).

YOU NEED

• Minimum certification of Scuba Diver.

• Valid personal diving insurance.

• According to Royal Decree 550/2020, the use of a dive computer is not mandatory, unless you want to replace three required devices (depth gauge, watch and tables).

• Recommended additional equipment: focus or flashlight, underwater slate, and compass.

CONDITIONS

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded. In such cases, the amount paid will be considered as corresponding to a dive made, without the possibility of rescheduling or refund.
