Planeta Azul is a point of reference in the organization of school activities and academic programs on the ecology and oceanography of the Mediterranean. Our goal is to empower the youngest in the defense of nature to achieve a sustainable present and future.
Planeta Azul and Environmental Education is a story of 25 years of experience taking thousands of children and young people to nature. Our high technical level in the mountains and at sea allows us to raise awareness among students through an unforgettable adventure of exploring the natural spaces on the coast and inland in the Region of Murcia.
Our goal is to raise their awareness in the defense of nature with an experience that we hope will continue in the classroom and at home. And to help teachers in their extraordinary educational work, firmly convinced that the way they get involved today will determine the prospects for sustainable development in the coming years.
Our methodology combines action in nature with the National Geographic learning framework, which allows us to address different scales and connect the natural and human world in the design of activities. Through exploration and observation of the environment, students develop their interest and sense of responsibility for the world around them, as well as their critical thinking.
With the youngest children, we follow the Montessori methodology, which we also apply to our successful Ocean Explorers summer school, in which we guide children in their own discovery of the marine environment.

C. Visitors of Cabo de Palos
A fascinating encounter with nature and the underwater world of the Region of Murcia. Whales, sharks, formation of the Mar Menor, seahorses and the great shipwrecks of Cabo de Palos.
Snorkeling
First you will attend an interesting workshop with our marine biologists and, once equipped, we will prepare to explore the Posidonia meadows, an authentic submerged forest, full of marine life.
